I use the term “danceaday” in connection with my studies with Susan Rethorst. Her awesome book, A Choreographic Mind, is one I encourage you to own and read. Find out more ↗

The project began while I was in graduate school at Ohio State, where three classes came together: composition with Bebe Miller and Susan Rethorst; postmodern dance history with Candace Feck; and podcasting with Dan Shellenbarger. For a history presentation on David Gere’s article about Joe Goode’s 29 Effeminate Gestures, I merged ideas from all three courses—and danceaday.com emerged.
